some sketches not showing in model display

I've created a sketch (sketcho28) which is all constrained but when I close the sketch it does not appear in the model. The sketch is non grayed out in the tree view.
Not the firstly time this has happened.

Atomic number 75: some sketches not showing in model display

Post by GeneFC »

I had no problem seeing sketch 028. I can on/off switch profile off and on repeatedly.

However there are many wrongdoing messages in your charge about indecent grids, ill-shapen constraints, and other. The model tree is loaded with "recompute" symbols, but the elements cannot Be successfully recomputed.

Some sketches have only external geometries and construction lines, with nary real geometry.

It is non clear away what you are trying to achieve with scads of sketches and almost no other operations, merely I defendant it will not be successful.

Hmmmm...
I'm clean new with this software atomic number 3 I'm sure is obvious. My program is to use the sketches to form surfaces for shapes I was having trouble creating with solids.
Are the errors you're referring to coming from the report view? I got frustrated stressful to understand what I was seeing in the report view and disabled it. Probably amend to fix the problems so that it doesn't keep popping up.
What is this "recompute symbolisation". I've noticed that both of the sketches have a blue check bell ringer and some don't.
Thank you for your analysis. Any musical theme why you can toggle the sketch off and on while I can't?

Yes, besides as inside the Sketch task itself.

Yes, that is the symbolic representation that says the particular needs to be recomputed. When I tried, the symbolisation remained, indicating the problem still exists.

The report view can atomic number 4 an annoyance at times, particularly with some warnings. But it is critically of import to see to it what is natural event when things are not working correctly.

I've cleaned things up.
Started a new sketch (sketch009). When I move back into the reference sketch (sketch008) I was hoping to adjust it referencing sketch009 but when I open sketch008 it does not show sketch009. Is there a preference file I buns attach so that we can compare the 2 of ours? That's assuming you can realize sketch009 while sketch008 is open. I should be able to see sketch009 while in sketch008...correct?

If you want to see Sketch009 while redaction Sketch008 you could switch to to the manikin tab and make it visible or you could vary your Sketcher visibleness preferences.

But:
Sketch009 depends already on Sketch008. Even if you could see it, you would not represent able to reference it, because that would cause a verticillated dependency, which is checked on the object level:

Sketch009 is visible in the model tab merely not when go into sketch008.
I realise the cyclic reference your talking about. I just wanted a visual reference.
I leave looking at into sketcher preferences.
How did you get on the dependency output?
Thanks Chris
